The latest forecast of the World Economic Forum goes even further: almost 134 years until professional equality between women and men is achieved – that’s how long it should take. To this we say quite clearly: this must happen sooner!

That is why we have created herCAREER – a career platform that takes into account all aspects of female career planning, including family aspects. As a modern and state-of-the-art platform, herCAREER meets the women where they are currently standing in their professional life – when starting or advancing a career or founding their own company – and supports and strengthens them in their professional environment. By breaking up hierarchical levels and offering the possibility of a direct exchange of experiences with role models, insiders, experts and personalities from business, science, culture, politics and media, the fair consciously stands out from existing formats. herCAREER Expo
herCAREER Expo is Europe’s leading career and networking event for women’s careers. Every year, it brings female graduates, women in specialist and management positions and female founders from Germany and abroad to Munich. The two-day expo is a place for discussions – across hierarchies and industries. Employers in particular provide insights and make role models approachable. With a total of 450 program items, the expo is unique thanks to the other offerings on improving the compatibility of family, care and career, on further training opportunities and on the topics of starting a business as well as money, finance and pensions.
The expo will take place on October 17-18, 2024 at the MOC in Munich. Around 300 exhibitors and partners and over 7,000 visitors are expected.With digital expo matching, visitors can find offers, people and exhibitors that match their interests – allowing them to navigate through more than 450 program items in the best possible way. Early Bird tickets cost from 10 euros until October 2, regular admission from 20 euros. For students and graduates, the expo including the program is free of charge!

herCAREER@Night
The networking event herCAREER@Night takes place on the evening of the first day of the expo. During a dinner, you will get to talk to personalities from economy, society, media and politics who are committed to equal opportunities. A table captain will sit at each table. These table captains will be available to you for targeted exchanges. Shortly before the event, you can choose which Table Captain you would like to sit with – if there are still seats available.

About founder & CEO Natascha Hoffner

Natascha Hoffner is the managing director of messe.rocks GmbH, which she founded in 2015. With messe.rocks GmbH Natascha organizes the annual career fair herCAREER. With more than 20 years of experience in the trade fair industry, Natascha was already part of a start-up in the trade fair industry in 2000. She has played a decisive role in the establishment and expansion of numerous leading trade fairs at home and abroad. At peak times, together with the then founder, she was responsible for up to 20 trade fairs and congresses a year and around 100 employees. For more than five years, she served as Managing Director, most recently for two years at a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG. Natascha is a mother of two and lives with her family in Munich.

About the COO Linda Flath

Linda Flath has been involved with messe.rocks and herCAREER from the very beginning. She has also previously worked in exhibition management, e.g. as a project manager at spring Messe Management GmbH (“Arbeitswelt der Zukunft”), where she was responsible for planning and operational implementation of HR exhibitions & congresses, further development of the exhibition concept, support for partners and much more. At herCAREER, she then helped to develop and implement the new exhibition concept together with Natascha. After a professional “excursion” of almost two years in another industry, she rejoined herCAREER, first as Director and since November 2021 as COO. She likes to stay in touch with her friends in the USA and here at home. In general, she is a very sociable person with a great passion for her job and likes to do yoga for balance.

About the Editor-in-Chief Julia Hägele

Julia Hägele got to know herCAREER 2022 as a freelance journalist and from then on was enthusiastic about the platform and the energetic team behind it. Since March 2023, she has been permanently on board as editor-in-chief. Previously, she graduated from Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich, having studied philosophy, political science and modern German literature at Ludwigs-Maximilian-University in Munich. She is the author of the book “Grenzgängerinnen – 20 Frauen über das Glück im Extremen”. What she particularly appreciates about herCAREER is the goal of a fair working world as well as the atmosphere at the Expo, where people across hierarchies get to talk.
