When is the crisis over? And: What does the world look like afterwards? These are the questions that futurist and founder of the Future Today Institute, Amy Webb, is currently asked most frequently by companies. And that is exactly what she discusses with Sebastian Matthes in the podcast Handelsblatt Disrupt: https://lnkd.in/epFtdx-BÂ
“One must look at all industries – but also the education system – individually. For example, I worry about our children. Numerous studies show how important early school education is for their later development. During the coronavirus crisis, an entire generation is missing several weeks of classes because schools in many countries are not prepared for distance learning. This will have dramatic consequences.”
Amy Webb is the publisher of the annual “Tech Trends Report,” for which the professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University collects hundreds of trends and technologies that will gain importance.
In the current report, she predicts that many of these technological developments will not be halted by the coronavirus crisis, but rather accelerated. A link to Handelsblatt is in the comments.
Will Germany achieve a turnaround in school education and realign itself? What do you think?
