Anne Theiss, born in 1984 in Aalen, also known as “Swabian Siberia,” studied Political Science with minors in Economics and German Studies at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Starting in 2011, she completed the Burda School of Journalism and worked for publications such as BUNTE.de and FOCUS. In 2013, she became a spokesperson for Dr. Hubert Burda.

In 2015, her daughter was born with the rare Phelan-McDermid syndrome, and in 2022, she had a son. In September 2023, her book titled “Die Abwertung der Mütter – wie überholte Familienpolitik uns den Wohlstand kostet” was published by Droemer Knaur.
