Christina Kampmann, MdL
Spokesperson for Digitalization & InnovationSPD Parliamentary Group in the State Parliament of NRW
Christina Kampmann has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament for the Bielefeld I constituency since 2017. For the SPD parliamentary group in the state parliament, she is the spokesperson for digitization and innovation and a full member of the Committee for Europe and International Affairs and the Parliamentary Investigation Committee III (Kleve). She previously served as Minister for Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sports of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia between 2015 and 2017. From 2013 to 2015, she was a member of the German Bundestag (member of the Interior Committee and the Digital Agenda Committee). Ms. Kampmann holds a degree in administration, a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in European Studies. Before becoming a member of parliament, she worked for the city of Bielefeld in the job center and most recently in the registry office. Ms. Kampmann is also a member of the board of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and of the Political Advisory Board of the SPD Economic Forum.
