As founder and Managing Partner of the international venture capital firm Acton Capital, Christoph has been investing in technology-based business models for over 20 years. With Acton Capital, he has accompanied around 100 startups from Europe and North America – such as AlphaSights (UK), Clio (CAN), Etsy (US) or momox (DE) – on their way to becoming market leaders. Christoph Braun studied and earned his PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany, and holds an MBA from the Tuck School Dartmouth, USA, among others. Prior to founding Acton Capital, Christoph Braun was responsible for building the corporate venture arm at Hubert Burda Media, thus establishing one of the first venture capitalists for digital business models in Germany with the current core team of Acton Capital. Before Burda and his return to his hometown Munich, Christoph worked as a strategic management consultant for McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt and San Francisco.
