Kathrin has been working at AXA Switzerland as CIO and member of the management board since September 2023. She is responsible for the department of “Data, Technology, and Innovation.”

Previously, she held various positions at Allianz Germany and most recently served as Head of IT at the public-sector insurance company Versicherungskammer in Germany. Kathrin has extensive experience in IT leadership roles within the insurance industry and possesses broad expertise in areas such as process management, operational organization, application development, and IT infrastructure operations.

Her academic background includes a degree in Business Administration as a Diplom-Kauffrau, a Master’s degree in Financial Management & Electronic Commerce, and a Ph.D. in Business Informatics from the University of Augsburg and the University of Calgary. Additionally, she holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Applied Computer Science. She was also a scholarship recipient of the Bavarian Elite Academy.

Privately, she is married and the mother of two daughters.
