Susanne Kaiser is a journalist and author. She writes for publications such as ZEIT, SPIEGEL, and Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Additionally, she appears as an expert on programs such as Arte, WDR, ZDF, RTL, and Pro7. Her latest book, “Backlash – The New Violence Against Women,” was published by Tropen in February. Prior to that, she released “Political Masculinity: How Incels, Fundamentalists, and Authoritarians Mobilize for Patriarchy” with Suhrkamp at the end of 2020. For the past 20 years, Susanne Kaiser has been exploring power dynamics between men and women in both Muslim and Western societies, focusing more recently on emerging phenomena such as organized misogyny and sexism.
