Gilda Sahebi is a trained physician and studied political scientist. She completed her journalistic traineeship at Bayerischer Rundfunk and works as a freelance journalist focusing on anti-Semitism and racism, women’s rights, the Middle East, and science. She is an author for “taz” and “Spiegel” and also works for ARD, among others. In 2022, “Focus” named her one of the “100 Women of the Year,” and “Medium Magazin” named her Journalist of the Year in the Politics category. Her books “Our Sword is Love: The Feminist Revolt in Iran” and “How We Teach Ourselves Racism: An Analysis of German Debates” were published by S. Fischer Verlag in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
