After studying law, Hendrike Grubert worked for nine years in law firms in Germany and Switzerland before deciding to devote herself fully to her second passion, natural cosmetics. In 2015, she founded Things We Love GmbH for this purpose, whose products under the brand name PonyHütchen are now a household name in the industry. Last year, the company tripled the number of its female employees, which brought exciting challenges for the mother of two and managing director on both an entrepreneurial and personal level. Since she was able to directly experience and understand why and what causes companies to fail during her work in insolvency administration, she wants to pass on this knowledge – together with the experiences from her own company – to aspiring female entrepreneurs who have already taken the first step of starting a business.
