Jen Martens, a mother of two and founder of ŌMAKA Naturkosmetik, introduced the first solid shampoo for curls and Afro hair to the German-speaking market in 2019. Since then, she has dedicated herself to boosting the confidence and self-love of her customers with her specially designed hair care products for all curl types.

In addition to her role as an entrepreneur, Jen also shares her knowledge as a speaker, encouraging other startups and entrepreneurs to focus on diversity and sustainability.

Jen is particularly committed to promoting more diversity in the hair care industry, an effort that has been recognized with numerous honors such as the Digital Female Leader Award 2022, LinkedIn Top Voice 2023, Zukunftsmacherin 2023, SupportHer Award 2023 (Cosmopolitan Magazine), and the Lübeck Business Start-Up Award 2023.
