Judith Gerlach is Bavaria’s Minister of Health and has led the Bavarian State Ministry for Health, Care, and Prevention since November 2023. Previously, she was Bavaria’s first Minister of Digital Affairs and established Germany’s first Ministry of Digital Affairs in 2018.

In 2021, she was included in the “Top 40 under 40” by Germany’s leading business newspaper, *Capital*. She has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2013.

For Minister Gerlach, health is our most precious asset. It is a heartfelt concern of hers to support healthcare and nursing staff. Judith Gerlach also aims to focus on leveraging technological advancements, as medicine – and thereby people – greatly benefit from innovative digital developments.
