Kathrin Günther began her professional career in the IT industry with training as an IT systems saleswoman and roles as an IT project manager at IT system providers. After graduating in 2009 with a degree in Industrial Engineering for Electrical and Information Technology and concurrently founding a company, she entered project management at Endress+Hauser in the field of process automation projects. Building on this, she completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2014 and subsequently took on various leadership positions at Endress+Hauser, most recently being globally responsible for the group-wide business field “Energy Solutions”. In 2016, she moved to the machinery manufacturer Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG, initially taking over the management of technical sales for software and automation solutions. Starting in January 2017, she was responsible for the global digitalization strategy of the company as the head of digitalization. From 2019, as Vice President of Digital Solutions, she was in charge of the Digital Solutions business area, where the company develops all software and platform solutions for networking pharmaceutical production as well as vision systems. Since 2023, Kathrin Günther has been working at GFT Technologies SE as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Software Solutions, overseeing the product business of GFT.
