Martin Speer grew up in the countryside in Middle Franconia, Germany. After completing his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, he studied economics and communication sciences in the USA and Germany. As an entrepreneur, he has founded two companies and launched a series of high-impact political campaigns. Martin Speer is an author, feminist, consultant, and dedicated European. In his work as part of the author and consultant duo HERR & SPEER, alongside Vincent-Immanuel Herr, he focuses on gender equality (Male Allyship) and Europe. He writes articles and books on these topics, delivers speeches and workshops, and supports companies and authorities. HERR & SPEER are HeForShe ambassadors for UN WOMEN Germany and were appointed to the Gender Equality Advisory Council of the G7 nations (GEAC) in 2022.
