After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering from the Stuttgart Media University, Michaela Jaap worked in consulting for more than ten years. As part of her work for consulting companies in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin, she was responsible for national and international projects related to her main topic “organizational development in sales and leadership” as well as in human resources development and consulting. She has been contributing her expertise to Hays AG since 2017, where she initially worked as a project manager for HR projects before starting to build up diversity management as a strategic initiative in 2018. In October 2019, Michaela Jaap was appointed Head of Diversity & Inclusion. In this role, she is responsible for all initiatives around equal opportunity and leads the Diversity Council, which was established in 2019. Michaela lives in Mannheim, is married and has 2 sons.
