“Fiber optics bring the world closer together, create connections, enable exchange, and foster knowledge,” says Monika Mahns, who has worked at numerous renowned agencies.

The certified advertising specialist is Head of Talent Acquisition and Specialist Company Marketing at Circet Deutschland SE, a provider of telecommunications infrastructure services.

The company, a subsidiary of a French corporation, has experienced significant growth since its founding—so much so that not all processes and structures have been able to adapt as desired. “My team not only holds the company together but also works at all levels on topics like process digitalization and fostering a new way of working together […],” says Monika. Her leadership style is convincing, and Circet Deutschland SE is ranked among Germany’s top employers by LEADING EMPLOYERS Deutschland.

For Monika, exchange is particularly important. Regular get-togethers with management, expert roundtables, and industry events are part of her approach. She firmly believes that employees should have the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally. For instance, through the Circet Academy, employees can train for professions needed in the fiber optics market that don’t yet exist elsewhere.

“When something goes wrong, it needs to be addressed—for the benefit of the employees and the company.” Monika is convinced that mistakes are important. They offer opportunities to learn, grow, and show whether someone is pursuing a task with passion.
