Crafting, tinkering, fixing… Nadine Müller had a knack for these activities even before starting school. Once, she built a soapbox car with her grandfather using an old shopping cart, and she disassembled and repaired her parents’ broken VCR.

Nadine followed her passion and studied mechanical engineering. After completing her studies, she joined MAN, where she worked in procurement, development, and product management.

Today, she is the Head of R&D Strategy and Steering at MAN Truck & Bus SE. In her current role, she primarily serves as a change manager, strategist, and mediator.

Her biggest challenge at the moment is uniting the development departments of four commercial vehicle brands under the Volkswagen subsidiary TRATON SE. “There is a great need for discussion around a shared vision that will impact the working lives of 8,000 employees,” Nadine says of this challenge.

Since 2022, MAN has had a woman on its executive board, Inka Koljonen. “Women pave the way for other women. I underestimated the signaling effect of having a woman in such a leadership position,” Nadine observes. She often hears that she, too, inspires and motivates other women to grow and develop in their careers.
