Prof. Dr. Yasmin Weiß teaches and researches at the Technical University of Nuremberg on how artificial intelligence is transforming the world of work. She studied business administration in Germany and France and began her career in consulting at Accenture before continuing at the BMW Group. Today, she holds several supervisory and advisory board mandates, including at Accenture, the MDAX-listed company United Internet, and the Zeppelin Group. She is also the founder of the startup Yoloa, which prepares young people for the future job market.
She was appointed by former Chancellor Angela Merkel to the Federal Government’s Innovation Advisory Board and by former Federal Minister of Economics Sigmar Gabriel to the Foreign Trade Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. She is currently a member of the FDP Economic Forum led by Finance Minister Christian Lindner.
In 2017, she was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in Science and Society in Germany. As a publicist and author, she has received multiple awards for her work.
She is the mother of two daughters and lives with her family in the southern part of Munich.
