Ute Puder

Graduate Designer, Director, and Project Developer. She initiates artistic interventions in public spaces focused on societal change.

Ute Puder, a graduate designer, director, and project developer born in 1962, has been initiating artistic interventions in public spaces for many years, addressing the urgent need for societal transformation.
As an instructor at the Johanniter Academy, she experienced firsthand the despair and sense of being lost felt by many young people. In 2022, she met Margret Rasfeld, who told her about 70 harrowing letters written and published by students at a secondary school in Leipzig. It was immediately clear: We need to invite these students to talk.
Following the spontaneous founding of the 11 Rebels, the Living Lab for a Peaceful Education Revolution was established in the heart of Leipzig.
