Virpi Matikainen

Virpi Matikainen has been Director Enterprise and a member of the executive board of Cisco in Germany since June 2021. She is responsible for the sales and further development of the German key account business at Cisco, with several DAX heavyweights and other global players.

Germany is one of the core markets for Cisco to drive the digital transformation of companies, authorities, and organisations. In her role, Virpi Matikainen focuses on infrastructure automation and accelerating digitalisation with large customers. This includes leading-edge home office solutions and video conferencing offerings as well as industrial and security architectures.

Previously, Virpi Matikainen held international leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. There she led the consulting organisation in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland until May 2021. Prior to that, she held various international management roles in Business Development & Technical Presales, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Alliances.

Virpi Matikainen lives with her family in the Munich area.
