Our task at the Federal Office of Logistics and Mobility is to ensure the safe and sustainable development of the mobility of the population and the logistics of goods. As a higher federal authority within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs (BMDV), we are responsible for a wide range of tasks relating to transport, logistics and modern mobility. Our tasks range from monitoring and penalizing freight transport to traffic data analysis and market observation of all modes of transport as well as funding programs, especially for cycling and public transport, and crisis management.
