Beruflicher Erfolg wird häufig mit der Sprossenhöhe auf der Karriereleiter gleichgesetzt. Ausgeblendet wird dabei oft, dass jede Entscheidung auf dem Weg dahin auch einen Preis hat und nicht jeder Mensch bereit oder in der Lage ist, diesen Preis zu zahlen.
Im Angesicht von Multikrisen fällt es noch dazu vielen Menschen schwer, den Sinn im eigenen Handeln zu finden und eine Perspektive für das eigene Leben zu sehen.

Vita: Melanie ist derzeit IT Solution Expert bei der Lufthansa Technik AG und treibt die Digitalisierung des Logistikbereichs voran. Nach ihrem Studium des Internationalen Managements arbeitete sie in verschiedenen Branchen, bevor sie vor einigen Jahren ihren Weg in die Konzernwelt der Luftfahrtindustrie fand. Seitdem bildet sie eine wichtige Schnittstelle zur Logistik bei der Entwicklung digitaler Produkte und der Weiterentwicklung bestehender Systeme. Ihr Engagement zeigt sie nicht nur in ihrem Kerngebiet, sondern auch im LHT Female Network und bei Diversifly, dem queeren Netzwerk der Lufthansa Gruppe, wo sie neue Akzente in Diversität und Nachhaltigkeit setzt.
Melanies inspirierender Lebensweg wurde bereits in dem Buch „Frauen des Jahres 2024“ von der herCAREER dokumentiert. Denn, Fun Fact: Als Melanie im sechsten Semester schwanger wurde, entschied sie sich dafür, aufgrund Platzmangels in Osnabrück gemeinsam mit anderen Eltern direkt nach dem Studium eine Kita zu gründen.
