Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) Deutschland e.V.
Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) e.V. is an international network of feminist and women’s organisations working together with 250 partners based in over 70 different countries. We promote transformative gender equality and women’s rights in interconnection with climate justice, sustainable energy & chemicals, less toxic waste, safe water & sanitation for all. In Germany, our work on sustainable energy includes the EU-funded EUWES project on a gender just energy transition. We support the participation of women and diverse genders in the sector through stakeholder engagement, workshops on gender tools and stereotypes in the workplace and their impact, and policy recommendations.
