Details about the speaker: Dr. Marcella Oberst
Vita: Dr. Marcella Oberst is a Senior R&D Engineer in TE Connectivity’s Automotive Business Unit. She works on projects ensuring long-lasting electrical connections in electric vehicles, spanning from the charging inlet to the battery and from the battery to the motor. Currently, she is part of the advanced development team in Bensheim, Hessen.

Marcella studied electrical engineering with a focus on high voltage and high current engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, completing her PhD on the long-term stability of electrical connections in 2020. During her post-doc phase, she transitioned from the energy to the automotive sector before joining TE Connectivity in 2022.

Vita: Dr. Veronica Biagini is a Senior Engineering Manager in the Energy Business Unit of TE Connectivity. With over ten years of experience in R&D and innovation, Veronica focuses on new technology and product development to maintain and broaden TE Energy’s technological leadership in the market.

She has a strong track record in leading engineering teams and driving new technology and product innovation. Veronica holds an MSc degree and a European Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy.
