Vita: Member of the CEB’s Management Committee, of the Project Appraisal Committee, of the Project Development Committee, Ms. Faller joined the CEB in March 2024, bringing in a very strong background in advisory work. She has over 20 years of experience in policy advisory and project finance. Tanja began her career at the World Bank in Washington, D.C, followed by management positions in the African Development Bank and in the German private sector with Munich Re’s asset manager MEAG. where she invested in social infrastructure in Europe. In the last seven years, at the German International Cooperation (GIZ), Tanja has supervised large teams focusing on advisory portfolio around sustainable infrastructure, including building implementation capacity, providing business advisory and sectoral expertise, structuring projects from a technical and a financial perspective; in particular in the sectors of education, training and related services, demand for and the supply of skills; microfinance, ethical, social enterprise finance, social economy; measures to promote gender equality and innovative health solutions.
